PETA Ltd are proud to be working with Safran Helicopter Engineers to recruit and train a Commercial Administration Apprentice.

The purpose of this role is to efficiently and responsively, with a professional manner, carry out administrative tasks, work on team KPIs and projects within the front office to support the customer support representative team to ensure on time delivery and customer service maintained.


Training to be provided:

Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard. You will complete a 15-month apprenticeship which includes 12 days at the PETA training centre in Cosham. You will be supported every 6 weeks with visits from your PETA Learning & Development Coach.


About the role:

The Commercial Administration Apprentice will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Initiate and work on continuous improvement projects
  • Review procedures when required
  • Monitor KPIs, Spares, core return lead times, overdues
  • Resolve administrative problems, continuously identify process improvement opportunities
  • Update TINA intranet page
  • Sales orders processing and raising quotations in line with the commercial policy
  • Update IT systems PAARIS and SAP
  • Completion of weekly reports
  • Track core returns
  • Internal and external reporting, analyse and present business data
  • Maintain customer on time delivery, coordinate spares reporting on a daily basis
  • Maintain pricing data
  • Daily overdues reporting and attend monthly meetings
  • Manage personal and professional development and attend training reviews with team leader
  • Develop working relationships with internal Safran stakeholders in UK and other global sites
  • Communicate in a business environment and participate in weekly meetings with other departments
  • Work in accordance with HSE legislation, company operating systems, policies and procedures
  • Demonstrate the company values and behaviours
