Patient Services Administrator's Required
We are a well established Cambridge City practice of 7,800 patients. We take pride in delivering high quality care to our patient population whilst maintaining sustainable working conditions for the whole team
We are now looking for a motivated and reliable Patient Services administrator to join our Patient Services Team. You would be joining a dedicated team who deliver a high standard of administrative support to our patient population.
The Patient Services Administrator role is diverse, and two days are never the same
Day to Day duties include:
- Greeting Patients and visitors
- Answering incoming telephone calls
- Booking, amend and cancelling appointments
- Processing Patient referrals
- Processing repeat prescriptions
- Registering patients
- coding records,
- liaising with external services
- booking interpreters
- dealing with test results.
- General administration
- In addition, responding to tasks from clinical and nonclinical staff
- Reception / admin experience would be advantageous as would previous use of SystmOne although full training will be given.
Previous NHS receptionist or clerical experience would be advantageous but full training will be given to the right person with scope for career development.
