Inclusive Consulting is delighted to be exclusively partnered with our healthcare charity client during their search for an enthusiastic and sociable Individual Giving Officer to join their team in Rotherham.


In this newly created role you will support the charity's income generation initiatives by increasing legacy pledges and gifts through initiatives tailored towards target audiences.

You will also provide information and guidance to those considering leaving a legacy donation to the charity.


Reporting to the Individual Giving Manager, you will work as part of a well-established fundraising team and cultivate relationships with donors, developing and expanding the network of the organisation.


This role would suit a confident individual with prior fundraising experience or one that has knowledge of building relationships in a business setting.

You must have excellent communication skills and a sociable attitude as you will be meeting with donors regularly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the legacy donation process, including identification of target audiences, engaging potential and existing donors, and completing administration for any gifts
  • Maintain accurate donor records and fundraising data
  • Support fundraising initiatives, and raise awareness of the hospice's work
  • Promote awareness of the organisation's work and legacy giving options through a variety of channels

Key Attributes

  • Experience in a fundraising environment
  • Understanding of fundraising principles and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
