Tech 4/Subject Matter Expert (Server and Infrastructure)


Our critical public service client is looking to expand their IT Support team with a number of SMEs at a 4th line capacity to cover the below tech stack across the team.

You will be working in a complex environment, with some older technologies to support the BAU of the organisations existing infrastructure, including some project work as well.


Skills and Experience

  • Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services
  • Microsoft Servers, Roles and Features (PowerShell, IIS, DNS, DHCP,ADFS.. and so on)
  • Microsoft SCCM (Not just patching and end points, needs to be able to demonstrate architecturelevel knowledge for this)
  • Virtualisation, such as Hyper-V and/or VMWare
  • Virtual Desktop Infrastructure such as Citrix VDA

Other desirable areas:

  • Identity management
  • Sailpoint
  • Cryptography and security principles
  • Security threats and mitigations
  • Load balancers (Including GSLB)
  • Cloud / Microsoft Office such as: DNS, Azure, Migration and administration.)
