As one of the AML Associates, you will be responsible for providing the best possible service to their clients by accurately dealing with the operational aspects of the UK AML function and ensure AML effectiveness by following, reviewing and advising onprocedures as prescribed and undertaking training as requested.

This will include but not limited to:

Manual AML verification for third party cheques
Relevant BCP processing cover for additional tasks outside the Financial Crime Hub
Manage exceptions to automated processes
Perform enquiries on various Web Tools
Dealing with queries and requests from other areas, i.e. items not in good order (NIGO)
Process items received in the department query queue
Monitor department mailbox and hotline, resolving internal queries
Monitoring and investigating quality control reports
Compile own manual letters for NIGO purposes/returning documentation
Accurately record information provided by customers on recorded lines for clear audit trail.

You will be someone with a strong willingness to learn whilst working in a fast paced environment that is focused on detail & accuracy, so it is essential that you have a good eye detail a well as proven organisation and communication skills.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is keen to start their Financial Services career or someone who has limited experience and who is looking to develop that further.
