Meraki Talent is exclusively supporting with the permanent appointment of Payroll & Finance Assistant based close to Edinburgh city centre (hybrid working) paying £30,000 - £40,000 plus the company benefits package.

The Role


This newly developed role is a pivotal position with the finance function to ensure the operational wheel of the business continues to turn daily.

It's critical the individual has strong attention to detail, can work towards and deliver on deadlines and not scared to ask questions.


The key components of the role will include:

  • Reporting to the Financial Controller with a dotted line to the Finance Director
  • Liaising with external stakeholders & parties
  • Onboarding new employees onto the payroll system
  • Updating of existing employees records & data
  • Payroll administration
  • Transmitting essential payroll data to thirdparty entities
  • Ownership of PO numbers, PO process and accuracy of invoicing
  • Reconciliations
  • Reviewing and developing processes, procedures, controls & systems
  • Coordinating with core finance to ensure a swift monthend close

The position of Payroll & Finance Assistant is based close to Edinburgh city centre - the location is easily accessible via public transport and also has parking available on-site.


The role will also offer:
- £30,000 - £40,000 base salary (the top level salary is achievable based on experience)
