Teaching assistant (SEND)

Wellingborough

Day rate:
£80 - £86 per day


DegreeSix are working closely with a large primary school in Wellingborough that are looking for additional teaching assistants to join them immediately.

This is a school that has around 13 pupils with ASD and SEMH and aged between years old. This can be a challenging role at times due to the nature of the pupils' statements.


The ideal Teaching assistants will be able to support the pupils that require additional support throughout the day to ensure they are engaged and fully focused with mínimal distractions to the other pupils.


These are full time posts that require 100% commitment with a working pattern of 8am - 4 pm and the school are specifically looking for teaching assistants that are interested in joining them permanently after 12 weeks.


If you have experience working directly with Special needs children or have directly supported children out of a school setting, I would be keen to hear from you.
