Role summary:


You are likely to have some experience of large-scale registration systems (or equivalent process) with some awareness of best practice data management, user experience or delivery of technical projects.


Responsibilities:


  • Scope and Build entry systems for all London Marathon events
  • Developing new features & process for the registration systems/work flows
  • Lead on cross departmental testing and feedback for registration systems you lead on
  • Liaise with other departments (Charity and Sponsorship Teams) regarding event registrations
  • Feed into the yearly department plan/ timetable
  • Ensure registration systems (and all associated work) is delivered on time and with zero errors for your designated events
  • Act as the departmental event lead for your designated events; working in a crossdepartmental team to help deliver a world class experience for event participants
  • Provide analysis and insight on registrant data, be proactive to identify trends and contribute ideas to improve the experience of participants
  • Support the delivery of a world class UX when people register for our events
  • Respond to internal queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Event delivery Ordering of running numbers, race pack distribution, wave allocations for events with waves
  • Creation of user journeys
  • Focus on user Experience

Skills and experience needed:


  • Excellent IT skills with extensive working knowledge of Excel (Advanced)
  • Fundamental understanding of good data management
  • Awareness and understanding of UX and QA
  • Project management techniques and disciplines
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks to ensure key milestones are delivered on time
  • Appetite to learn and grow skillset
  • Be a team player with a positive outlook
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365

Previous experience

  • Currently working in role at similar level
  • Experience of working in a datadriven department
  • Experience in user experience
  • Previous experience in use event management or participant management system
