Job Title:
Admin/Project Support Worker
Accountable to Senior Pastors
Salary £6,660 per annum (£20,535 pro rata)
Hours - 12 hours per week _(days to be agreed with line manager) _- 8 hours Administration, 4 hours Community Engagement
Contract Length 12 months fixed term _(continuation of role is funding dependant)_

About Teesside Vineyard
Teesside Vineyard is a regional church based in Thornaby, Stockton-on-Tees.
We are a diverse church that seeks to support and serve our local community, sharing God's kingdom with those around us.
We currently run a number of well-established community initiatives including our Grow Baby Ministry, The Vine Café and a selection of weekly groups for all ages.
We are looking to recruit a flexible and dynamic individual to join our team as a part time Admin/Project Support Worker.
This role is initially funded for a fixed term of 12 months but we hope that it can continue and increase if future funding is secured.

Overview of Role
Administration
- Support with the administration of Teesside Vineyard Church ministries
- Respond to general enquiries and manage bookings
- Provide organisational support in preparation for Sunday Services
- Assist in planning key church events as part of the staff team
- Help to develop new administrative systems
- Support with monitoring and reporting to funders
- Support with identifying small grants and funds
- Any other administrative tasks requested by the line manager
Project Support
- Help to support a weekly drop in session, this could include The Vine Café, Grow Baby or developing a new ministry
- Support the individuals attending sessions and connect them with any relevant local support services
- Assist the Community Pastor with organising and preparing sessions and events
- Help to guide the volunteers that are supporting on the projects
Person Specification
- Good general level of education
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ideally have experience working in a people facing role
- Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with all levels of staff and external partners
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
- Be a passionate follower of Jesus with a commitment to lifelong development
- Resonate with Teesside Vineyard Church's vision and values as well as Vineyard values in general

Detailed Role and Responsibilities:
Administration
- Support with the general administration of Teesside Vineyard Church ministries
- Use Churchsuite to create consent forms, add contacts, oversee ministry rotas and manage the church calendar
- Develop new admin systems
- Provide organisational support in preparation for Sunday Services
- Support with the planning of key church events (as part of the staff team)
- 7. _Support with monitoring and reporting both to funders and CCLI _(Christian Copyright Licencing International) _
- Identify small grants and funds and highlight them to Pastor team
- Support the Kids & Tots Pastor and Worship Pastor with printing materials for Sundays
Project Support
- Assist the Community Pastor with the delivery of 1-2 community projects. This could include either The Vine Café, Grow Baby, or potentially a new ministry.
- To support the individuals attending our weekly sessions, providing a warm welcome and connecting people with any relevant local support services.
- Be familiar with relevant external support agencies and all referral routes on behalf of participants.
- To assist the Community Pastor with organising and preparing sessions and events.
- Help to guide a team of volunteers who serve within our community projects.
General
- Be familiar with all Teesside Vineyard policies and procedures.
- To understand and fully respect the organisational ethos.
- Adhere to the Health and Safety policy and guidelines.
- Adhere to the General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.
- Undertake all necessary training required for the role including Equality Diversity.
- Any other duties commensurate with the post as deemed appropriate by your line manager.
- This post will require you to complete and clear our safeguarding process.
