Medicnow is an NHSi framework Agency who provide highly qualified and flexible Ambulance Staff to the NHS, Ministry of Defence (MOD) UK and foreign deployments and the wider private sector including primary and secondary healthcare

Our client is a ambulance provider and they have numerous shifts available: day and night. This role is suitable for those with previous experience and a technical knowledge of the role.

The role is essential you have and will require you to do the following:
First Aid at work certificate

Advance First Aid at work

Category B1

Clean Driving Licence (Maximum 3 Points)

Moving and handling certificate

Medical gasses training such as oxygen therapy

Able to meet stringent pre-employment checks including, satisfactory references, enhanced DBS checks

Adult resuscitation (CPR)
Allergic reaction
Asthma
Bone, muscle and joint injuries
Burns and scalds
Chest pains
Choking adult
Communication and casualty care
Eye injuries
Fainting
Head injuries
Defibrillator prompts and how to respond (theorybased)
Defibrillator pad placement (theorybased)
Low blood sugar
Managing an emergency
Minor and severe bleeding
Poisons and what to do if someone has been poisoned
Role of the first aider (including knowledge of health and safety regulations)
Seizures
Shock
Spinal injuries
Stroke
Unresponsive adult

Advanced hold the above as well as the AED qualification

Pay Rates:

Umbrella:
£12.13 to £17.00
**PAYE: £9.61 to £13.46
