Eastleigh, Hampshire

Permanent, Part Time (flexible)

Salary:
£28-32k FTE DOE


Our client, MC Controls is a privately owned business that specialises in the design, construction, supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of HVAC control systems.

They pride themselves on offering a high level of customer service and working on a wide range of


projects - from large domestic properties through to schools, restaurants, health centres/ hospitals, hotels, offices and even a few British Embassy buildings.


Due to their continued growth, they are now looking for an organised and confident
Bookkeeper/Administrator to join their team based in Eastleigh, Hampshire.

You will be responsible for day-to-day administrative support within the team overseeing the management of the office, simple accounts and customers.


Bookkeeper/Administrator, the role:


  • Carrying out basic accounting tasks bookkeeping, PO, invoicing and payment management
  • Managing business payroll (inc. overtime, salary and pension queries)
  • Overseeing credit cards purchases and reconciliation
  • Raising Delivery notes, collation on site reports and issuing to relevant parties
  • Reviewing and updating Health and Safety policies annual reports, reviews and risk assessments
  • Looking after company inbox and dealing with IT queries
  • Maintaining and updating business's website
  • Liaising with suppliers in a professional and polite manner
  • Dealing with company insurances
  • Supervising New Starter processes (offer letters, contracts, RTW) and HR Platform
  • Undertaking other general office duties as requested

Bookkeeper/Administrator, the person:


  • A good standard of education background in general administration and AAT Qualifications would be beneficial
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a must
  • Motivated and enthusiastic with a great attention to detail
  • Excellent timemanagement skills with the ability to use your own initiative
  • IT literate and exceptional user of Microsoft Office
  • Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise workload and working well under pressure
  • Demonstrate outstanding communication skills and problemsolving approach to work
