We are currently working with an established professional services firm in Colchester to recruit a generalist HR Officer.

Reporting to a Manager and working in a small team, this role will provide a proactive and supportive HR service to the business.

Responsibilities will include end to end recruitment including onboarding; provision of advice & guidance; supporting with employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives; HR systems; managing statutory leave and other ad hoc duties.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally hold an accredited CIPD qualification and have previous experience of working at Senior HR Administrator/Assistant or Officer level in a generalist role.

You will have a good working knowledge and understandingof UK employment law, although extensive employee relations experience is not necessary.

Strong organisation skills and an excellent attention to detail are essential together with experience of HR systems.
