Description
Trinity Business Support are currently looking to recruit a Van Driver for our Gateshead based client.


Duties will include:

  • Collection of recycling goods from depots across the South Tyneside (Plastics)
  • Loading and unloading (very manual work)
  • Completion of all company paperwork
  • Requirement to keep the vehicle clean and report any faults
  • Adhering to all road traffic laws
  • Ensuring all loads are strapped safely before transit
  • Paperwork completion


This role can involve more labouring than driving throughout the day and you will be working by yourself once trained.

Monday to Friday 40hrs

£11.00 depending on experience.

Company van provided

12 weeks via Trinity Business Support

After 12 weeks - employed directly with the client


Salary:
£11.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Gateshead, Tyne and Wear: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Delivery driver experience: 2 years (required)
  • Driving: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (required)
