Brief overview of role

Duties and Responsibilities
We are looking for an apprentice to join our growing PR Agency.

You will be supporting our experienced team across a range of clients using social media, digital marketing skills and helping us to gather human-interest stories.

We would expect you to play an active role in helping to ensure the smooth running of accounts and you'll have proven digital skills, social media and content know-how, as well as a dedication to progressing your career through learning and development.

In return, you will get the chance to work at Derby's fastest-growing PR agencies alongside staff who spent a combined 50 years-plus working on both local and national media.

We have more than 30 clients in both B2B and B2C markets, from restaurants to schools, charities to manufacturers: we want you to contribute the ideas you think will help get them noticed and then put them into action.

Some of your responsibilities will be:

Delivering well written, accurate work to a high quality
Managing media lists, forward features and calendars
Participating in the creation of strategic and tactical plans for clients
Supporting media and influencer outreach
Managing multiple campaigns and clients on a daily basis
Monitoring awards and event programmes, to ensure our clients are part of key industry events
Building awareness of media interests and how this can be linked to client's stories

Training
Level 3 Digital Marketer apprenticeship standard. Training will be delivered from the EMA training hub in Derby city centre.

The 3 core knowledge units are as follows:

Principles of Coding
Marketing Principles
Digital Marketing Business Principle

In addition to the modules above, you will also study towards the Google Analytics vendor qualification, and you will be also be invited to attend portfolio sessions towards the end of the apprenticeship.

Further support will be provided to you through your Digital Coach/Mentor via onsite visits and remote communication.

Career Progression

The opportunity to progress into a fulltime marketing role upon completion of the apprenticeship
The potential to progress onto a level 4 apprenticeship upon completion of level 3
