Senior Audit Manager - Wholesale Credit Risk
My Client is a Global Corporate and Investment Bank looking to hire a wholesale Credit Risk SME for their Audit team:
I am looking for someone like that who can:

  • conduct reviews and audits of (a) credit risk management across commercial and collateralized lending activities (including loan origination, credit risk assessment, limit setting and quality of the credit documentation for both commercial and leveraged loans),(ii) Credit watch list, loan impairments and reserving (iii) risk appetite, policies, governance and framework and (iv) risk data aggregation and reporting.
  • Provide practical, innovative and valueadded solutions to issues identified.
- analyze and assess risks and barriers to delivery, assumed by both the business and support functions.
- identify controls that are designed to address the risks and evaluate their effectiveness.
- monitor issue resolution, risk profile and developments within a specific area and provide input into our audit planning;
- prepare reports of audit findings for Senior Management, monitor the results, risk profile and developments across Group Internal Audit (GIA) network and provide input for planning sessions

You will Ideally have:
- a university degree in Business, Economic or Finance
- ideally at least 5 years+ experience within the financial industry. This experience could have been gained at an internal audit function, credit risk function or consulting firm
- proven knowledge of (it) credit risk framework, policies, governance and risk appetite and reporting, (ii) commercial and leveraged lending including collateralized lending (Lombard and Structured products) and Mortgages.
- willingness to keep up with industry, regulatory developments and learn new concepts and methods,
- ability to effectively communicate with senior stakeholders
- reliable when working on your own, with sound judgment for when to escalate issues
- fluent in English with excellent verbal and written skills. Additionally, fluency in additional languages would be an asset.
