Sheet Metal Fabricator, Worsley

Pay:
£14 p/h

Hours: 7:30- 16:00, 40 hours p/w

The role

An exciting opportunity has arisen working with sheet metal in a local, busy fabrication shop in Worsley who specialise in process plant installation and structural steel installation.

Experience/Skills:

Tig/Mig Welding experience
Confident in using a range of materials including mild, stainless steel and aluminium.
Able to interpret, read and understand Engineering Drawings
Able to use tools such as scribes, rulers, calculators and squares
Fasten joints and seams in sheet metal with solder, welds, caulk, bolts and metal driver clips, ensuring work is done carefully and bonds will last
Confidently use hand and power tools to trim, buff, smooth, file and grind metal surfaces and joints to ensure safety and a seamless appearance
Select the appropriate type and gauge of sheet metal to be used in projects according to specifications
