About the Role

This role is based at Diageo's Shieldhall packaging site.

Shieldhall packages a huge volume of Scotch malt whiskies, white spirits and ready to drink brands to supply over 170 countries around the world and is a key manufacturing site within the Scotch supply category.

The Operational Technology and digital space are constantly evolving. This is a new and exciting opportunity that helps shape the future of Diageo's Manufacturing Operational Technology (OT).


We are looking for an enthusiastic, inquisitive self-starter who understands how to articulate communications to effect change in the OT community.

Working across Diageo's global manufacturing sites, you will develop and lead the OT cybersecurity compliance programme, empowering the OT community to be cyber secure.


You will be an experienced audit, risk, or compliance professional with the motivation and aim to effect change: a strong communicator with the ability to extract and interpret results, framing recommendations to suit the audiences needs.

In this role you will:

  • Lead the delivery of the OT cybersecurity programme for Shieldhall Packaging
  • Work towards implementing standards and controls that facilitate a secure OT environment in alignment with the Central Engineering team
  • Work with the central OT team to deliver best practice at the site
  • Guide, motivate and lead the site to meet Diageo's cybersecurity objectives through positive engagement and secure values
  • Act as a risk champion at site encouraging best practice

We'd love to work with you if you have:


  • Outstanding analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Expertise engaging with, leading and winning buyin from stakeholders across the business
  • The expertise to question and challenge, driving focus to help teams understand their responsibilities, and the importance of their role mitigating risk
  • Experience working in cybersecurity or related disciplines/roles, such as IT/OT/Technology, IT/OT audit, IT/OT risk management, or IT/OT operational risk
  • Knowledge of control and instrumentation systems preferable
  • Knowledge or working experience assessing or implementing cybersecurity controls based on NIST CSF, ISO 27001, ISA99/IEC 62443, or willingness to undertake
