Behaviour Learning Support Assistants
SEMH Focused School

Full Time / Term Time Role

£80 - £90 per day

The school based in Camden, London is currently looking to recruit a Behaviour Learning Support Assistant who has experience working in a mainstream/SEN setting where the previous learners have displayed challenging behaviour and have had additional needssuch as ASD and dyslexia.

You will be expected to work within small groups and class settings and help pupils access and develop their learning.

The school caters for students in KS3. Most need help with focus and concentration to support them to achieve their qualifications.

The school is within walking distance to more than 3 various train stations and has good access to the Underground, Overground and bus routes.

Key skills and experience needed:

SEN/SEMH Experience is essential for this role.
Experience in a school setting is also essential.
Preferred Qualification in Psychology/ Childhood studies/ Special needs
Strong behaviour management due to the nature of pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds with SEMH needs.
One to one work and/or classwork
High levels of professionalism
Enthusiasm and friendly approach towards vulnerable learners
