College of Science and Engineering, School of Biological Sciences, Institute of Immunology and Infection Research

Fixed-term (temporary), 24 months contract
**Full-time, 35 hours per week
We are looking for a Postgraduate Research Assistant to work on an MRC-funded human malaria challenge trial.

This is a grade 6 post (salary range £31,396 to £36,024) within the School of Biological Sciences and provides full time employment for 24-months (expected start date December 1st 2023).

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Experience in processing human blood and bone marrow samples
  • Expertise in culturing human bone marrow organoids
  • Broad knowledge of malaria and human immunology
  • Analysis skills in R Excellent written and oral communication skills
