Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Higher Level teaching assistant to join our team of dedicated and hard-working staff.
We are looking for someone who has a passion for working with children and wants to ensure they learn, progress and reach their potential.
St Bartholomew's is located in the small town of Great Harwood, in East Lancashire and is 5 minutes from the M65 and approximately 20 minutes from most major towns in the area.
If appointed, you will be part of a team of teaching staff who share a commitment to all of the students at St Bartholomew', to providing the best possible education within a Christian setting,.
The job is extremely rewarding as you know you are making a difference to the lives of the children you are working with.
As well as being part of a wonderful staff team, we also have a supportive parent community, and we enjoy good links with the local community and the Parish of St Bartholomew's.

We are looking for applicants who:
- Have recognised HLTA status or equivalent
- Have NVQ Level 4 Qualification or equivalent and a Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy
- Are outstanding and inspirational practitioners and can consistently contribute to a range of teaching, learning activities in an engaging way
- Have an excellent working knowledge of the primary curriculum
- Have high expectations of pupil's achievements and behaviour and of themselves
- Have experience of music, forest schools or PE.
- Have a commitment to developing their own professional skills
- Will support our Christian ethos, values and Mission Statement

Essential Qualifications
- Recognised HLTA status and corresponding qualification
- English and Maths GCSE (or equivalent)
- Forest school qualification
- PE or sport qualifications
- First Aid qualification
- Current Safeguarding training
- Experience of working with children
- Experience of leading classes across the primary phases
- Experience of working with children
- Experience of working with children
