About Our Client:

The key responsibilities of the HR Advisor:

  • Responsible for recruitment alongside advertisements and advising line managers.
  • Advise and deal with all employee relation matters.
  • Support and advise on absence management
  • Attend meetings as required with line managers, support through grievance hearings, disciplinary hearings.
  • Identify and hi light any HR process issues.
  • Provide managers with support on employee concerns.
  • Report back to management on HR performance
  • Ensure HR policies are kept up to date and in line with legislation.
  • Coach managers through grievances and any other issues.

The Successful Applicant:


  • CIPD level 5 (or working towards)
  • Previous experience of dealing with complex ER issues.
  • Union experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Previous experience of working on own caseload.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and confidently.
  • Good understanding of people management.
