MMP Consultancy is working exclusively with a global multi-disciplinary client based in South Essex/East London seeking a Head of Facilities.

You will be responsible for the following:

Lead and direct the facilities management and maintenance to the highest standards across the extensive premises, including the delivery of planned maintenance and repair programmes.
Inspection of the site's building physical plant routinely to guarantee the building services are at the highest quality standards.
Procuring, negotiating, and managing internal and thirdparty contracts and contractors engaged with the client.

Due to the variety of staff and buildings across the site, which hosts an operational, corporate, and logístical workforce, experience working within estates and facilities management in a commercial organisation with a diverse building/department portfolio across multiple sites would be highly desirable.

You will be required to demonstrate the following:

Strong engineering background and, ideally, a technical qualification such as HNC/D in engineering.
Experience working in a senior management position with project budgeting, finance, and planning skills.
Knowledge of hard and soft service thirdparty contractors and their operational methods.

In addition to the circa £65,000 salary and 13% annual bonus, you can expect to receive benefits which include:

Whilst the site operates 24/7, the successful individual must be onsite Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm.
