eCommerce Merchandise Specialist - EME

Hybrid Working - Stoneleigh, Warwickshire**
Fixed Term Contract - 12 months (Maternity Cover)

Job Summary


The role supports multiple areas of the Merchandise business but is primarily responsible for maintaining the content of the online shops and leading digital projects to drive sales and enhance customer's experience.


The role will also take ownership of monitoring customer data in Google Analytics to report on trends and patterns, targeting specific customer segments with ad-hoc monthly newsletters, co-ordinating social media activities with the Digital Marketing Team and External Agencies, drafting the calendar of marketing activities requiring support from the Creative Team.


Ecommerce marketing, customer-centricity and attention to details are key attributes needed for this role, as is a passion for learning and the ability to work collaboratively across teams, departments and regions.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Maintain/enhance web shop content
  • Lead web shop projects from concept up to testing and implementation
  • Maintain AGCO employee staff number in Magento
  • Maintain Customer Service user guide
  • Liaise with Digital Team and Creative Team to coordinate Social Media Activities and Marketing activities
  • Analysis of Google Analytics data to identify customer segments to be targeted with special offers and promotions
  • Manage Sales Force queries providing suitable resolutions in a timely manner
  • Support in the preparation of Dealers and Retailers special offers
  • Work with Buyer and thirdparty Compliance Team to obtain Products Testing and Certifications ensuring that they are in line with EU & U.K. requirements.

Experience & Qualifications:


  • Educated to degree level or Alevel
  • Commercial Awareness
  • High level of literacy and numeracy
  • Familiarity with Salesforce SRM, SAP
  • Previous experience in Merchandising or Product Management desirable
  • Written and spoken German desirable
