Brief overview of role
Are you looking to secure an apprenticeship working within marketing, whereby you will be engaging with multiple businesses across the transportation industry? Do you possess a creative flair and can-do attitude? If this is you then read on, as Paintbox Limited based in Derby are looking to recruit a marketing apprentice to join their team

Duties and Responsibilities
This role offers the opportunity to join a small team responsible for operating the Transportation division of Paintbox.

Whilst the main focus will be the rail industry there will be a requirement to also contribute to the Automotive side of the business and into other sectors as required.

During all your activities align your working style and behaviour to the Company value system as detailed below and in the Company Handbook.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

To learn about Paintbox's activities and use this knowledge to create content for social media platforms, especially LinkedIn. At all times understanding and supporting the long-term goals and strategy of the group.
To understand and implement an appropriate level of data analytics to guide future marketing activities online
To support the Business Development Manager to improve customer communications and relationships. This will involve visiting customers (with sales team) and building relationships, providing administrative support as required. Occasional overnight stays when visit more remote customer sites will be required.
To assist in planning, setting up and attending trade shows, creating a strategy to support this activity and collecting data to gauge success
Expected to be professional in attitude to the job and in the manner with which duties are conducted. Always present a professional image and be willing and capable of communicating across all levels of the business as required. Always keep the area of work clean and tidy and respect the organisations investments and assets. Adhere to the standards of the 5s housekeeping audit, therefore minimising risk to products and employees. Dispose of waste in the appropriate manner and ensure that you understand and comply with the Health & Safety at work Regulations at all times. Report all accidents, potential near miss Reports completed /risk situations and defective equipment using the agreed procedure and wear any company issued PPE without fail.

Training
Level 3 Digital Marketer apprenticeship standard.

Training will be delivered from the EMA training hub in Derby city centre.

The 3 core knowledge units are as follows:

Principles of Coding
Marketing Principles
Digital Marketing Business Principle

In addition to the modules above, you will also study towards the Google Analytics vendor qualification, and you will be also be invited to attend portfolio sessions towards the end of the apprenticeship.

Further support will be provided to you through your Digital Coach/Mentor via onsite visits and remote communication.

Career Progression

The opportunity to progress into a fulltime marketing role upon completion of the apprenticeship
The potential to progress onto a level 4 apprenticeship upon completion of level 3
