I am looking for
Warehouse Operatives/Hatchery Operatives for a role based in the
Ower area by Romsey

This role does involve working around livestock.

Responsibilities of this role:


  • Will involve taking and lifting crates of chicks from the Machine and stacking them
  • Clean after take off, putting paper into hatch baskets
  • Cleaning the trays after transfer and putting them through a tray wash system
  • Assist in wheeling/moving large crates of eggs around the Warehouse
  • Disinfect and ensure that all equipment is to a clean standard
  • And any other duties required by the Company
  • To fulfil job given at start of shift

Training/Skills Requirements:


  • Health & Safety At work
  • Will involve heavy lifting, up to 15kg
  • PPE will need to be worn whilst working (this will be provided)
  • Chemical Handling
  • Chick Welfare
  • Own transport due to location
Working days will be Monday-Friday

  • Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
