Special Needs Teaching Assistant

Mainstream Primary School

Dalston, East London


New Formation Education is currently looking for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to work within a primary school in Dalston.


The SEN TA will work within the department and involve preparing classroom resources, helping set up lessons and supporting in lessons.


Skills for the role include:

  • The preparation of materials and equipment for lessons
  • Maintaining the equipment and prep rooms and their equipment, and services in good order
  • General duties in support of the teachers in the Department
  • Experience working with children with SEN needs such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, PMLD or behavioural/learning difficulties
  • Excellent relationship building abilities.

Ideally you will have:

  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant (Min 3 months)
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)
Willingness to be flexible and work in a team

To be eligible for this role, you must:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Provide two professional child related references

Salary:
£80.00-£90.00 per day
