Are you looking for a new challenge?


We have an exciting new position, working with a long-established engineering company based near Wigan who specialise in medium to heavy engineered components for the Mining, Oil & Gas and Power Generation sectors.

Also specialising in large CNC machining, up to 35 tonnes


You can expect to be supervising the manufacture of components from drawings, finding the best methods to uphold efficiency and quality.

Assisting in developing new methods of work for existing or new products. Ensuring compliance to work specifications, instructions, and H&S. You will be responsible for small team of highly skilled machinists. Self-motivated and able to work using initiative and effective communication.

Skills Required

  • Experience in Tooling and manufacturing
  • Milling/ Turning (manual & CNC)
  • Radial arm drilling
  • Marking out castings, forgings, fabrications.
  • Organising workloads/ materials for machinists
  • Communicate with shift operatives to inform them of requirements
  • Excellent organisational/ time management skills
Monday to Thursday
6:45am - 3:15pm (Overtime can be require ensuring late shift are aware of requirements)

Friday 6:45am - 2:15pm

In return you will be rewarded with
- £21.50 per hour (~£43k basic)
