An opportunity to join an experienced, versatile team, delivering first class administration services to our world class Armed Forces personnel.
Position Overview
The role of the Reprographics Operative is responsible for the operation of all reprographic equipment and to provide an efficient reprographic service, scheduling and prioritising job requests.
The post holder will be responsible for the successful provision and delivery of Reprographic support services to meet the needs of the customer at BRNC, Dartmouth.
Main Duties
- Produce printed or electronic documents by means of digital printing or document scanning.
- Producing finished documents to the customer's specifications as instructed on the Job Sheet including document collation, paperfolding, guillotining, stapling, bookmaking, binding and laminating.
- Discussing jobs with the customer to ensure work is completed to the required standard and on time.
- Operate and undertake general maintenance of reprographic equipment i.e change toner, clear paper jams, etc.
- Carry out inventory checks and maintain stock control, ordering paper stock, inks and consumables.
- Collate and maintain a spreadsheet of the monthly output, reporting figures to Line Manager.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in full compliance with current Health and Safety Regulations, Copy Right and the General Data Protection Regulations.
- Undertake any additional tasks as determined by the Line Manage
What we are looking for:
- Excellent organisational skills, with strong customer service skills and experience of working to tight deadlines.
- A good understanding of reprographics technology.
- A strong team player and able to use own initiative to problem solve.
- Credible verbal and written communicator with the ability to develop close working relationships.
- Ability to manage short notice changes to requirements and deadlines.

Proof of right to work in UK essential
The Contract operates a 37.5 hour working week between the hours of 0800 to 1630 Mon to Thu and 0800 to 1330 on a Fri.
