Our client is looking for an experienced Project Worker.

To do this you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including emergency covid-19 accommodation services, Pathways Services, the Housing Needs Team and a range of specialist external partners providing health, immigrations and move-on support

As a project worker you will be responsible for providing practical support to individuals accommodated in various specialist accommodation services delivered by Haringey.

This means delivering face-to-face, virtual and telephone-based support work to help people affected by homelessness to secure positive housing, health, employment and wellbeing outcomes.

As a project worker, you will support people by completing comprehensive client assessments, safety planning and key worker.

You will work with people to identify their personal aims and support them to turn assessments into practical actions plans.

You will be responsible for supporting people to understand their rights and responsibilities and to maintain their accommodation. You will work in partnership with others to facilitate move-on for homeless single adults.

Good knowledge of The Homelessness Reduction Act and the Care Act

Good knowledge of the welfare benefits system in the UK and the rights and entitlements of EEA nationals.

Experience of supporting people in temporary or supported accommodation to move-on into housing in the private rented sector.

Experience of working with single homeless adults and/or those affect by rough sleeping

An understanding of the needs and challenges faced by EEA nationals affected by rough sleeping
