Salary:
£26,000 + monthly bonus

Location Aylesford

Hours:
Monday

Friday 8:30am5pm

Have you got experience within the water industry either as a drainage engineer wanting to come off the tools or someone who handles the engineers reports who is wanting to go into estimating? Or got great plumbing experience who is wanting to develop theirknowledge?

My well established drainage client who has recently become a part of a franchise is looking to expand their team and recruit a Junior Estimator who is looking for a fast paced environment where you will never fall short of duties to complete.

My clienthas made £15Million profit in the last year and thrive throughout the colder and wetter periods of the year.

This role will require for you to have pump knowledge within the drainage/water industry.

You will be looking after key accounts quoting clients on below ground pumps, above ground pumps, drainage and plumbing.

You will be working in a close knit team and work with prioritised quotations which have been assessed by Engineers.

You will be suppliedwith a list of your suppliers who you will build relationships with and get the best price rates.

My client offers fantastic training and has a smooth sailing onboarding process with regular career progression staying within operations or heading into commercial.

Duties of the Junior Estimator:

Build relationships with key accounts and get to know the soul contact to speak with regarding drainage issues
Prioritise quotations depending on the type of account and what the drainage engineer has marked the urgency as out of RED, AMBER, GREEN
Liase with suitable departments to ensure all key areas are covered within the pricing quotation: pipework, electrical controls, pump and labour
Liaise with supply chain manufactures to find suitable products and work with negotiated fees already in place
Ensure you have quotations from suppliers in writing form to ensure you can get the price secured and inform the client for pricing

Requirements and experience of this Junior Estimator:

Experience of below and above ground pumps (required)
Experience working within fast paced environment while having attention to detail
Organised to complete all prioritised workload
Excellent communication skills is required and experience speaking with suppliers
