Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic Play Worker to join our team in Billericay, Essex working term time only. You will assist in the day to day running of the Breakfast and Afterschool club.

Hours: 20+ Hours per week (Term Time only)

Main duties

Assist with planning, preparing and delivering quality play opportunities within a safe and nurturing environment.
Picking up children from Sunnymede School, Billericay.
Providing food and refreshments and ensuring that hygiene and health and safety standards are met.
Administering first aid where necessary.
Undertaking relevant training.
Keeping the work environment healthy, safe and secure.
Working within the framework of the company policies and procedures and the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Person specification

Experience working with children
Understanding the issues involved in the delivery or quality childcare
Provide and facilitate safe and creative play
Good communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Administrative skills and competent in using IT to support play and club administration
Paediatric First Aid Certificate
Food Hygiene Certificate
