We are looking for a hard-working and conscientious senior administrator to be responsible for leading a small team in providing administrative support to the Quality and Patient Safety teams.
You must have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, be adaptable, flexible, and innovative.You must have the ability to work on your own as well as within a team and be highly motivated to deliver excellence.
The post will be expected to work cross site as required.
The purpose of this job is to assist the Patient Safety Manager, Head of Patient Safety and Complaints, PALS, Bereavement & Patient Information Manager as well as supporting the Risk Management Team in the development and implementation of all patient safety, clinical and non-clinical risk management arrangements.
The postholder will contribute to an efficient, compassionate, professional and comprehensive service working with the teams to set the standards, promote and drive improvements for complainants, patients, their families and their carers across the Trust.

- Be an 'expert' in the field of risk management providing advice and support for all staff.
- Assist the Trust with the strategic planning of the risk management agenda to meet both national and internal targets.
- To be proactive in identifying areas of risk and bringing them to the attention of local staff and the Head of Patient Safety in a timely manner.
- Provide the Trust with expert advice and leadership on all aspects of patient Safety.
- Provide expert risk management advice for all clinical staff in the organisation.
- Management and delivery of the Trust's Incident Reporting Procedures and the Serious Incident Policy ensuring incident investigation outcomes are reviewed and effective and sustained improvements through SMART action plans and QI initiatives.
