Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHC) are seeking to recruit Bank Level 2 Porters for flexible working opportunities in through our Trust Bank.

The roles are mainly based at Moseley Hall and West Heath Hospitals (both on a 12 hours shifts pattern) along with West Midlands Rehabilitation Centre (days only)

We are looking for reliable, motivated, and flexible individuals with good communication and interpersonal skills suited to the special needs of a hospital environment.

Applicants should be able to undertake shift and weekend working at any of our hospital sites and be able to meet the physical demands of the post


The aim is to provide an effective porter service, involving a variety of tasks including responsibility for collection/delivery of post, ordering and maintenance of housekeeping stock, gas cylinders, wheelchair and other cleaning duties, waste removal, setting up meeting rooms, maintaining a tidy exterior and other miscellaneous duties.

BCHC provide high quality community and specialist services within Birmingham and the West Midlands.

We deliver over 100 clinical services, out in people's homes and in over 200 healthcare settings for adults, children, people with learning disabilities, those with rehabilitation needs and also dental services.
