If you have DevOps or software developer experience and you're seeking a new remote role, we want to hear from you Deerfoot IT Recruitment is helping a remote-based tech start-up find a Principle Back-End Java / Spring Developer, and the role comes withan attractive salary of up to £85k p/a.


The right individual will be the go-to person for all backend services, critical in helping shape technology and introducing new ideas and principles to help the company grow and succeed.

With your frontend counterpart, you will create seamless back andfront integration, continuing the simple vision that anything achievable in the UI is available to customers in our APIs.

To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

  • Build and guide a team of backend developers
  • Create resilient and scalable architectures
  • Develop integrations with OpenSearch and Elasticsearch
To apply, you will need to be experienced in building and leading a team of backend developers.

You will also require the following:

  • Ability to create resilient and scalable architectures
  • Understanding of REST principles
  • Proficiency with JPA, SQL and distributed caching and messaging
