My client is a leading commercial cleaning and facilities management company based in the Altrincham area providing a diverse range of services to hundreds of client accounts nationwide.
An interesting credit controller job has arisen, working from start to end on each circumstance in a small team.
About the Credit Controller job
- Management of all current and potential new sales ledger portfolios.
- Invoicing according to current procedures at daily, weekly and monthly intervals.
- Chasing clients and raising credit notes regarding the invoicing for purchase orders (producing reports to follow up).
- Responsibility of invoices from stock items, to uploading to customer portals ensuring contract invoicing lines are maintained and reported to Business Development Managers during internal meetings.
- Inputting and updating price increase (including service additions/reductions).
- Liaising with the finance team.
- Resolving queries and chasing debts
- Running month end procedures and general ledger management.
Experience required for Credit Controller job
- At least 2 years' experience in credit control position.
- Good attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Able to communicate effectively and professionally with customers, both orally and written.
- Organised and selfmotivated, especially while handling a fluctuating workload.
- Able to handle stress and pressure, remaining calm in difficult situations.
- Extensive and sound knowledge of Microsoft packages (specifically excel, word and outlook).
