Health & Safety Trainer
Role context:
The HSE Technician/Trainer develops delivers and maintains training programs, procedures and content compliant with regulatory Worley and client requirements as well as provides functional support duties (clerical/technical) relative to environmental, health and safety regulatory compliance.
You'll be:
Facilitate training sessions across the project sites to both company and project partner employees to ensure compliance with the project training plan.
- Work with external and internal training providers to coordinate training activities when necessary.
- Promote safe work practices, identify and work to eliminate any bad practice.
- Deliver training and assessments to a high standard, possess excellent presentation and facilitation skills and demonstrate a sound understanding of positive coaching techniques.
- Carry out workplace competence assessments as required.
Provide input to the Worley Woodsmith Training Strategy and the development of specific training development plans to ensure project legislative compliance as well as maintaining training & competence standards.
You'll have:
Essential:
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) or equivalent (PTTLS)
- TAQA Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement or equivalent (A1)
Desirable:
- Experience of working with Control of Work processes, (Authorised Isolator, Permit Authority etc)
- Manual Handling Training qualification (ideal but not a must have)
- Good understanding of multi discipline trades / workscopes
Essential:
- Experience providing training to workers and adult learners, using popular education/interactive approaches
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups
Desirable:
- Sound health, safety and environmental knowledge
