We are excited to be recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a well-established finance team on a permanent basis.


A Family Run business with a friendly approach are currently searching for an Accounts Assistant due to continued success and growth.

This role is offered on a full time basis located in their Wythenshawe office 5 days per week.

  • Managing purchase ledger, ensuring that any price or quantity queries are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Ensure accurate posting of purchase invoices for value, VAT codes and nominals.
  • Responsible for ensuring that credit notes are received for all supplier returns and QA complaints, chasing suppliers if not received within a timely manner.
  • Managing the purchasing PO system, holding weekly meetings with the relevant departments to resolve queries/discrepancies
  • Running weekly receipt and nominal reports to ensure invoices have been received and processed correctly
  • Undertake other duties as requested to support the financial team

Your Previous experience will include:


  • At least two years' experience in an accounts role.
  • Minimum AAT Level 3 or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills as you will be working with other departments and external suppliers.
  • Handling a range of supplier queries/concerns in a professional manner
  • Ability to work in a team and have a flexible approach to work to meet the requirements of both the finance team and business
