About the role


Reporting directly into the Channel Controller for Foodservice UK, the
National Account Manager is responsible for strategic development of a portfolio of large national accounts (
Bidfood and Brakes), through selling the Kerry Branded portfolioand providing bespoke product development where appropriate.

That's why a deep understanding of UK wholesalers and distributors is highly required.

So what will you do?

  • Creation and implementation of the account specific growth plans
  • Create and achieving account specific annual volume revenue and margin budget targets
  • Achieve new branded listing and innovation in the specific accounts
  • Sales forecasting via internal meeting with the to the Kerry demand planning team to ensure service levels are maintained
  • Working with the Kerry marketing team to execute the annual brand plans in the specific accounts. This will involve agreeing the promotional and advertising plans with the customer and generating the best return on investment.
  • Effective internal and external management of all investment related to the account.
  • Create demand for our brands by working closely and building relationships with sales teams in the accounts to win new business with end users.
  • Full financial responsibility for budget delivery.
  • An additional key element of the role will be managing the development and implementation of a new business pipeline that will include National branded restaurants,Contract Catering, and Pub Groups.

This will be achieved through working closely withthe wider GB&I Foodservice sales team and the sales and marketing teams of key Broadline Distributor partners.


How to be successful
-
Working knowledge of the Foodservice Market with direct exposure to broadline distributors:

  • A history of growth results
  • Ability to work at pace in an Enterprise management environment
  • Ability to manage many stakeholders through excellent communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial in approach to work to deliver creative growth strategies and the ability to lead out execution of the plan
  • Analytical skills that can solve problems and resolve issue quickly
  • A culinary background would be ideal but not essential, interest in food essential
