-
Carer Support Worker (Band 3, Agenda for Change) 22.5 hours per week_
Fixed Term until 31st March 2024
Foyle Hospice is excited to have received funding from the Department of Health's Cancer Charities' Support Fund.

This fund, administered by The Community Foundation Northern Ireland, will enable us to provide a Carer Health and Well Being Programme.

The Carer Support Worker will provide a short respite, namely a couple of hours to a patient to allow their carer time for themselves to rest and have a break from caring.

This will mainly be in the patient's own home and will geographically include the areas currently supported by Foyle Hospice.

The successful person will have a minimum 2 years' experience working in a health care setting.

They will have completed NVQ level 3 in care or equivalent and have experience working with Palliative/End of life patients.

Induction and support will be provided.
