4 on 4 off shift pattern, 6pm-6am or 8pm-8am (seasonal)

and brand reputation spotless.

A Bowser Driver/Ground Handling Equipment Operative involves driving company vehicles and towing/operating ground handling equipment within the airside operations area.

You must be proactive and adaptable and strive to ensure the highest standards are consistently met.

You will be working as part of a team carrying out a variety of driving and cleaning tasks including lifting and carrying up to 20kg.

Having an understanding of aircraft appearance, including the knowledge of premium and economy presentation would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities**- To contribute to a culture of engagement, involvement and continuous improvement within the cleaning team.
Responsibility for consistently delivering the companys high standards of service at all times.-Transporting cleaning materials and supplies to aircraft and removing waste and rubbish

Operating bowser/ground handling equipment around the airport
Operating, uplifting and carrying out aircraft appearance and laundry services and vehicles
Collecting and uplifting up to 20kg of waste

Servicing aircraft toilet waste and water systems for flights
Carrying out vehicle safety checks and water audits
Liaising with the cleaning department to react to associated requests
Ensure compliance in both airline and airport policies, reporting any deficiencies in the system or health & safety risks

Maintain a safe working environment at all times, especially when using equipment and PPE

Other duties as assigned may be expected, including cleaning duties on selected shifts

Skills/Qualities required**Zero tolerance approach to health & safety non-compliance.

To take pride in driving and cleaning standards.
Excellent communication skills.

Basic level of administration skills

Receipt of a satisfactory standard disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service
Previous experience operating water & waste bowsers or similar (would be advantageous)

Ability to quickly and accurately being able to react and assess any given situation and instigate corrective action

Manual handling abilities for up to 20kg with the use of trolleys, cages and laundry products

Qualifications and Competencies
The ability to work under pressure.

Flexibility to work various shifts (evening, nights, weekends, and public holidays)

A full manual driving licence recognised by the UK is essential

Basic English language skills

You will be required to pass the relevant training courses as well as an airside driving test and medical.

Necessary vaccinations (Toilet Bowsers)
