Role and Responsibilities


As producers of accessible formats for people with a print impairment, we work closely with educational organisations, NHS Trusts and the corporate sector.

This is a role where no two days are ever the same.


You will manage the allocation and quality of work, in the creative and technical studio on a variety of briefs and projects and work closely with Directors, Managers and Client Services.

You will be working to ensure accuracy is maintained at all times, so the ability to communicate at all levels whilst producing work to a high standard and agreed SLA's is essential.

You will be someone who is a real self-starter, pro-active and is results orientated, confident in your approach and with a high level of positivity that drives the team to achieve their goal.


You'll certainly be kept busy, so if you love working in a fast-paced and creative environment, this could be the perfect role for you This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm, flexibility on start and finish times will be required during peak times of the business and this can be discussed further during the interview process.


The role specifics

  • Schedule all daily timesheets using scheduling software, Synergist.
  • Developing a thorough understanding of all products coming through each department.
  • Forecasting and scheduling workloads and accommodating all project demands, reacting to change, and making the required decisions to keep projects moving seamlessly.
  • Managing workloads for all creative teams within the studio. Identifying required resources through busier periods and communicating this to senior management to ensure consistent workflow, targets are achieved and standards maintained.
  • Liaise with the senior management team and the wider business to ensure proposed targets and SLAs are achievable and deliverable in the agreed time frame.
  • Monitor, analyse and prepare reports to assist senior management with key business decisions.
  • Become an integral part of the team to help drive forward high standards and increase efficiency throughout the Organisation.
  • Continuing relationship management with all external clients.
  • Contributing to the development and growth of Connect Design.
  • At all times maintain and champion our ethos to ensure the integrity of the company is upheld.

  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders throughout the organisation.

  • Excellent planning and forecasting skills and the confidence to make studio decisions unaided.

  • Ability to remain calm and work quickly but accurately.
  • An eye for detail and a good command of the English language

You - Would be great if you came with these skills.

  • Experienced in the implementation and use of production and scheduling software.
  • Some experience working in a creative studio or within a print production environment producing both hard copy and electronic formats.
  • Experience of working to deadlines and in a pressurised environment.
  • Experience of working closely with internal departments and external customers and ensuring that the requirement of the customer is the overall focus.
