Behaviour Teaching Assistant
A Specialist School near Southampton City Centre is looking for a Teaching Assistant available to start ASAP

The school caters for children aged 5-16 with Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs who are not accessing mainstream schools.

It has excellent public transport links. This role is mainly to work with the secondary aged pupils. The pay rate for this role is £80-£90 per day dependent on experience.

The role is to work Monday - Friday 08:20 - 15:30 with children in small classes of around 5-9 pupils.

You will be supporting the teaching and support staff with all aspects of the development of the students - from academic, to social.

The school believes in the inclusion of all students, as everyone deserves the chance to develop and grow - if this ethos fits you, you could make a huge difference to the lives of these young people.

You will need prior experience/knowledge in childcare, working with SEN/SEMH needs children, as well as GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths (or equivalent).
