Description
The successful HR Advisor will work alongside the HR Manager, and will provide full generalist support to the business.

You will be involved in managing varied ER caseloads, end to end recruitment activities, performance management, employee engagement andsuccession planning.


Client Details
I have been briefed on a fantastic new role, for one of my Manufacturing clients based in Sheffield. They are looking for a HR Advisor to join them on a permanent & full time basis.
The role is paying up to £40k, and they will consider part time hours too.


Description
The successful HR Advisor will provide full generalist and advisory support to the HR manager and the business across the following activities:

  • End to end recruitment processes including induction processes and probation reviews
  • Manage varied ER caseloads, and provide advice and coaching to line managers in line with company policies and procedures
  • Review and update HR policies and procedures and implement changes where required
  • Support with L&D activities and source via external partners, blended learning solutions, including management development programmes
  • Implement initiatives in regards to employee benefits, and employee engagement
  • Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly MI reports ranging from sickness, absences (including reasons) disciplinaries, grievances, staff turnover and staff demographics

Profile

The successful HR Advisor will have:

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar HR Advisor role
  • Up to date knowledge of UK Employment Law
  • Experience of working in a change transition/recovery environment
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or working towards
  • Experience of working in a blue collar environment would be preferred
  • Proactive and pragmatic approach to work
  • High attention to detail with experience of dealing with confidential information
  • Excellent communication skills
