- about 5 hours agoWe are excited to announce we have an opening for a Procurement Officer for our rapidly growing not for profit client. As the Procurement Officer you will undertake the day-to-day procurement related operations of the business, including liaison with suppliers and service providers to the organisation.


The role is offered with Hybrid working and you would be required to work 2 days in the office per week.


Main responsibilities of the Procurement Officer:

  • Assisting in supplier management in order to support the provision of quality service
  • Preparing and conducting supplier reviews
  • Produce analysis against assigned suppliers and their performance in line with agreed supplier management framework (including scorecards, risks, issues, incidents, performance, demand management, change control and contractual and commercial requirements) to support beneficial outcomes
  • Work closely with relevant stakeholders to support the Procurement Lead in guiding the organisation through new procurement's
  • Assessment of procurement routes for products and services on the Commercial Pipeline
  • Completion of tender and contract documents
  • Support the Procurement Lead in developing and updating processes and manuals including Procurement manual
  • Perform due diligence on new and existing suppliers
  • Assist in the implementation and integration of eProcurement and CRM systems

Skills and Experience required of the Procurement Officer

  • CIPS Level 4 Certificate or above
  • Preferable, but not essential
  • Good knowledge of relevant regulatory and legislative requirements in relation to procurement preferable
  • Experience of working in a Public Sector Procurement role an advantage
  • Supplier/Stakeholder relationship management
  • Flexibility and resilience to manage and prioritise a complex workload with high levels of internal and external relationships
  • Demonstrates good commercial judgement
  • Good planning and organisation skills; able to multitask and prioritise to manage deliveries
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
