An international bank in london are looking to hire an immediately available/short notice, talented MI Accountant the join the London based subsidiary.

The position will be an initial 12 month FTC paying up to £70k.

The core function of the role will be to produce insightful Management Information for the bank, acting as a finance business partner to key stakeholders across various business units including Corporate Banking, Treasury and Private Banking, as well ascontacts in the group head office.

Role Responsibilities:

Production & Review of Monthly Management Information packs
Assist with the production of annual budgets and monthly/yearly forecasts
Cost Analysis
Assist in planning processes
Development and improvement of the current MI information and Budgeting & Forecasting processes
Create a base of Financial knowledge within the Bank to assist business and senior management in their decision making with both retrospective and forward planning MI
Build strong relationships with key individuals in the business & support functions
Undertake necessary project work or deal with ad hoc request

Qualifications and Skill set:

Relevant accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
Background in Management Accounting within a banking environment with experience across both revenue and cost
Effective communication and stakeholder relationship management
Understanding of banking infrastructure and financial products
Use of Hyperion financial management
Excellent excel skills
