CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator (DAYS)

Wakefield

£15.00 per hour

  • Day Shift


  • Monday

  • Friday (8 hours per day)

Purpose of the Role

  • To set up and operate / programme HAAS machining centres to produce specific component parts to varying tolerances. Interesting and varied work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working on HAAS 3 axis vertical machining centres from VF2 to VF
  • Produce component parts in tolerance of drawing specification
  • Keep a clean and manageable working area
  • Undertake additional responsibilities and tasks as required

Key Skills

  • Key Skills
  • Competent and confident in setting and operating HAAS milling machines. Some programme experience would be advantageous.
  • The ability to use relevant inspection measuring equipment
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Produce component parts in tolerance of drawing specification
General awareness of health and safety issues

  • Team player and ability to work on own initiative
  • Attention to detail
  • 4th and 5th axis knowledge advantageous

Qualifications

  • Minimum City & Guilds Mechanical Engineering relevant discipline (Desirable)
