Join the dynamic team as an Associate in Infrastructure Projects & Energy at a top 100 firm, recognized by Legal 500 and Chambers Partners.

With a minimum of 1 year PQE, you'll play a vital role in servicing the expanding portfolio of major energy, utilities, and infrastructure clients.

Expect exciting opportunities for international work, including travel to Nigeria and other African jurisdictions.

Responsibilities:

Draft and negotiate finance documents, jointventure documents, corporate documents, and complex commercial contracts related to energy and infrastructure projects, with guidance from a partner.
Manage transaction processes and supervise less experienced colleagues.
Provide advice to clients on their investments and operations in the UK, Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
Actively engage in business development by networking with clients at events and offering training.
Embrace continuous selfdevelopment through participation in formal training programs and utilization of mentoring, coaching, and leadership development opportunities.

Requirements:

Possess a minimum of 1 year PQE experience acquired in an international law firm.
Demonstrate flexibility, agility, and a keen enthusiasm for expanding knowledge and experience in challenging Infrastructure, Projects, and Energy (IPE) work.
Take a lead role in supporting complex transactions and effectively coordinate with fee earners from various relevant disciplines as required.
Contribute to the overall maintenance and improvement of the group, including training, precedent development, and general knowhow enhancement.
Exhibit strong commercial awareness, coupled with a genuine willingness to learn and a keen interest in infrastructure, energy, and transport sectors.
