Description
Communications and Engagement Co-ordinator (Change communications)

Our University aims to become one of the world's leading universities. The Internal and Change Communications team plays a key role in supporting our strategic priorities and continued success.

You will provide communications support to the Internal and Change Communications team to create, develop and deliver employee engagement. This role will focus on key strategic projects which help deliver the University's strategy.

This includes projects to improve our systems, processes, and organisational structures to meet the current and future needs of our teaching and research - and to support the skills and career development of our staff.

Our current projects cover a wide range of areas such as new IT systems, modernising our finance and HR services, and projects to directly improve student, staff, and researcher experience.

To deliver audience-led communications you will develop a good understanding of how we operate and work across our central, faculty and school teams.

You will develop knowledge and understanding of the different groups of people directly and indirectly affected by changes, and how best to reach them.

You will support the design and delivery of communications to engage with staff, delivering consistent and co-ordinated messaging for the project.

You should have some experience in communications - ideally internal or change communications, with an understanding of working with project teams.

We're looking for someone with strong all-around communications skills - the ability to translate complex issues into a clear narrative, create and deliver written messages, creating images/graphics, and producing video and website content.
