A Main Contractor with a portfolio of New Builds, Refurbishments and Fit-outs across the Medical, Residential and Commercial sectors are looking for a bright Accounts Assistant to join their Hertfordshire based team.


The Accounts Assistant's role


The Accounts Assistant will be expected to support with supplier and subcontractor invoices, resolve invoice queries and process payment runs to suppliers and subcontractors.

The Accounts Assistant should be highly organized and self-motivated as they lookto work in a timely manner meeting general business deadlines.


The Accounts Assistant will report to the Finance Director of the Hertfordshire team and will be expected to take on Ad hoc duties in-line with business requirements from time to time.


The Accounts Assistant

  • Experience with invoices essential
  • Experience with accounts essential
  • Experience within the construction industry or similar essential
  • Good time management and highly organized individual
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office experience essential)
  • Knowledge of Sage Line 50, Eque2, PaperLess, CIS preferrable
  • Willing to commute across the LOCATION

- £22,000 - £27,000

  • 28 days including Bank Holidays
