We are currently recruiting for an ambitious and practically minded Utility Surveyor to join our team in Manchester. This is a great opportunity for someone with survey experience to work within the expeditious Geospatial industry.

The successful applicant will be reporting to the head of the department and will be based in our Manchester Office.


What will I be doing in my new role?

  • Undertaking of utility surveys in a variety of environments using the latest EM and GPR technologies and equipment available.
  • Undertaking site visits and client meetings to assist in the tendering stage of larger projects.
  • Handling, processing, and interpreting geospatial data within the subsurface environment.
  • Managing teams onsite to deliver the project objectives.

What qualifications/ previous experience do I need?

  • QCF3/QCF5 highly desirable but not a requirement
  • Strong knowledge of the principles and practices of GPR and underground surveying
  • Ability to use EML and GPR with high proficiency
  • Understanding and knowledge of PAS12
  • Ability to understand and analyse asset owner record drawings
  • Understanding and knowledge of land surveying (desirable but not a requirement)
  • Good writing skills and proficiency in the English language
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Flexibility to travel nationwide as required by our clients
  • Possess a full clean manual driving license
  • Strong work ethic with drive for career growth
